Fast forward a quarter of a century, and the results of his ongoing renovation project are beyond remarkable. The complex is now home to its Gothic-influenced architect Ricardo Bofill, acting as his main residence, as well as numerous vast offices, archives, design labs and various outside patios, decks, gardens and paths. All part of an ever-evolving master plan.
Ivy, cypress, eucalyptus, palm and olive trees have been slowly added and grown throughout the remodel, giving the exterior grounds new life, as well as the interior areas.
The décor is simple and aims to not detract too much from the majesty and ethos of the rooms themselves.
